1. Who we are
VJStats is a football statistics website. This policy explains which personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have.
2. Who is responsible
Mais2 is responsible for the processing of your personal data. To ask anything about your data, write to hello@vjstats.com.
3. Data we collect
Account: name, email address, date of birth and password (stored encrypted, never in plain text).
Preferences: language, time zone, favourite leagues and the answers to the registration questions.
Subscription: status, dates and the brand and last 4 digits of your card. The full card details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.
AI agent: the messages you send, the answers, and technical usage data such as the number of words processed.
Technical: the cookies needed to keep you logged in and to remember your language and time zone.
Duelo VJ: your country, your answers, duels, points and position in the ranking, and whether you accepted to receive offers by email.
4. Legal bases
We process your data to perform the contract with you (your account, the subscription and the game), to comply with legal obligations (such as the billing records and the age check), for our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and measuring how it is used, and with your consent when we ask for it, as with the offers by email, which you can withdraw at any time.
5. Analytics
We measure the use of the site with Google Analytics and Ahrefs Analytics, which receive technical data such as the pages visited, the device and the approximate location.
6. Why we use it
To provide the service, confirm your email, check that you are at least 18 years old, charge the subscription, answer your questions in the AI agent and keep the site secure. We do not sell your data.
7. Service providers
Stripe processes the subscription payments.
OpenAI processes the messages of the AI agent to write the answers.
EmailListVerify checks at registration that your email address exists; we only keep an encrypted fingerprint of the address and the result.
Amazon Web Services sends our emails.
These providers only receive what they need to do their job.
Some of them may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case we rely on the safeguards the law accepts, such as the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.
8. How long we keep it
While your account exists. When you ask us to delete your account, your personal data and conversations are deleted, except the billing records we must keep by law.
9. Your rights
You can see and correct your data in your profile and change your preferences at any time. To delete your account or exercise any other right, contact us from the email address of your account.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD) in Portugal and the European Union, the LGPD in Brazil and the data protection laws of the other countries, you can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction of the processing, portability of your data and object to the processing, and you can withdraw your consent at any time at hello@vjstats.com.
10. Complaints to the authority
If you think your data was not handled properly you can complain to the data protection authority of your country: in Portugal, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD, cnpd.pt); in Brazil, the Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados (ANPD); in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD); in Peru, the Autoridad Nacional de Protección de Datos Personales; in Colombia, the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio.
11. Applicable laws
Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (RGPD) and Law 58/2019 in Portugal; Law 13,709/2018 (LGPD) in Brazil; Law 29733 in Peru; Law 19628 in Chile; Law 1581 of 2012 in Colombia.
12. Minors
VJStats is only for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly keep data of minors and delete it when we find out.
13. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version, and important changes are announced on the site.
